Gulf Dirt Track National Championship 2005 Hyderabad :: 01-02 October 2005

On 2nd October 2005- Hyderabad : Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd staged its fourth round of the 5 Way Gulf Dirt Track National Championship at Hyderabad , NTR Stadium.

92 motor-sporting enthusiasts had confirmed their entries but after documentation and vehicle scrutiny only 70 riders were eligible to start. The spectators who came to cheer watch the daredevils on the wheels were thrilled.

The event sponsored by Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd., is held under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) and organized by Sportscraft, in association with Andhra Pradesh Motor Sports Club & Kart Kave provided a thrilling fare, with some of the best riders of the country participating

Professional riders from TVS Racing added glamour to the show, exhibiting their skills over high speed, breaking ability over bends and controlling their machine in the slush. Besides these professionals there were also experts from Bangalore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Pune, Nashik and Mumbai who put up an excellent show.

A total of 12 classes were run and C.S. Santosh of TVS Racing in the foreign class gave an out standing performance finishing with 37 points.

In the Indian Expert Class C.S. Santosh of team TVS Racing added 37 points to his score.

Rustom Patel on his TVS Shaolin leaded in the Private Experts.

Snehal of TVS Racing on his TVS in the Indian Novice Class 2 stroke and Sarosh Mulla of Mumbai on his Yamaha in the 4 stroke Novice Class topped the podium.

4 Ladies also competed in the ‘Ladies Scooter’ category and Praneeta Jaiswal on her Honda and Madhuri Jupudi on her Kinetic took 1st & 2nd positions respectively.
