Race 1 of the day was in this category and started with a grid of 7 cars. This event which has been so far dominated by the veterans saw no change in the set up . Ayub Khan who looks to have been struck by the Midas touch this season continued his great run today. Starting from pole position, led till the end and ran way to a facile win in race 1. K.E. Kumar starting 3rd drove aggressively as is his forte to ensure that he finished second. 2nd placed in the grid Ashwin Sunder could not just match the racing skills of Kumar and finished 3rd.
Race 2 saw Ayub Khan continuing from where he left. Leading from start to finish, Ayub did not even give an iota of a chance to his rivals, and the main tussle for the 2nd place was between K.E.Kumar & Radha Selvaraj. K.E.Kumar and Radha Selvaraj fought neck to neck till the end with Radha just edging out Kumar to take the 2nd place.

Ameya finished in third place. The novice prize was annexed by Naveen Kumar.
In an action packed Race 2 which was the best race of the day and a treat for the large number of spectators and racing enthusiasts, pole leader Sarosh Hataria drove one of his best races of his career to stave off a hard challenge from Ameya and Rayomand.
