LG Sports in association with JK Tyre is glad to announce its Racing and Karting School and Scholarship Programme for the year 2005.

The dates fixed are the 28th, 29th and 30th of January 2005.

The karting programme will be in the morning and the racing in the afternoon. On the 3rd day,assessments will be held for the trainees and awards will be given.

Awards- Category wise

Cadet: Top 2 Drivers will get a Scholarship of Rs 7,500 per event for the 2005 Rotax Max Challenge Series with the LG Sports Team in the Cadet Class.

Junior: Top 2 Drivers will get a subsidy of Rs 10,000 per event in the 2005 Rotax Max Challenge Series with the LG Sports Team in the Junior Class. If the driver runs his own team, then LG Sports will give the driver 1 set of free tyres per event.

Senior: Top 2 Drivers will get a subsidy of Rs 10,000 per event in the 2005 Rotax Max Challenge Series with the LG Sports Team in the Senior class. If the driver runs his own team, then LG Sports will give the driver 1 set of free tyres per event.

Qualification for the Awards

Cadet: Should be between 8 to 12 years old. Should not have come in the Top 3 of the 2004 Rotax Max Cadet Challenge series.

Junior: Should be between the age group of 13 to 16 years old. Should not have come in the top 5 of the 2004 Rotax Max Challenge Series.

Senior: Should be 16 and above. Should not have come in the top 5 of the 2004 Rotax Max Challenge series.

The top 4 drivers of the Scholarship programme will get a subsidy of Rs 10,000 per event for the full championship subject to the driver doing the full championship. These drivers will become part of the LG Sport-Autocar-JK Tyre Junior Driver Development Programme and Akbar Ebrahim thru the Championship will specially coach them.

The last date for submitting entries for the Scholarship Programme is 25th January 2005. Forms can be got from the LG Sports office upon requisitioning for them to the following mail id:
