| What is an Enduro? |
| enduro (n-dr, -dyr) n. pl. enduros. An event of endurance and reliability with the course predominantly of an off-road cross country nature. |
| Where it is being held ? |
| For the first time in India, the Top Gear – Gulf Oil Indian Enduro 05 will be held in the the City of magnificent forts & palaces viz. Jodhpur. |
| When it is being held ? |
| 14th – 17th December 2005 |
| The route ? |
| Top Gear Gulf Oil Enduro is a sporting event staged over Rocky and Sandy terrain and is designed to prove the endurance of the riders, and the resistance of their machines. The competition will take place over two days. |
| Who is the controlling body for motorsport ? |
| In India, the motorsport is controlled by “The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India” (FMSCI), which is the National Sports Federation, recognized by the Government of India. It is also the National Motorcycle Federation (FMN) for India recognized by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the International Federation for promotion and control of 2 and 3 wheeler motorsport. FIM is actively supporting the Top Gear Gulf Oil Enduro ’05. |
| Who are the organizers of this Enduro ? |
| The event is organized by the FMSCI and its member club Sportscraft, which is a professionally managed sports organization and who have organized more than 230 successful motorsport events. |
| Is it an international event ? |
| No. It is a National event with participation of international riders by invitation, as per the FIM Sporting Code. |
| Am I eligible ? |
| Any person over 18 years of age may enter this event. Every rider should be a holder of a currently valid Civil Riding License and FMSCI Full Competition License or license issued by the respective FMN. NO PILLION RIDER IS PERMITTED. |
| What motorcycle should I use ? |
| Any motorcycle which is individually licensed for the road. Knobby tyres are strongly recommended to go over ‘rocky & sandy’ terrain. |
| What modification in the bike are allowed ? |
| All modifications for Group “B” as per FMSCI Technical Regulations for Two Wheelers valid from 1st July 2002. |
| What type of fuel is allowed ? |
| Any type of fuel is permitted provided it complies with article 3.3 page 15 of FMSCI Technical Regulations for Two Wheelers effective 1st July 2002 |
| Are there any prizes? |
| Yes, cash prize and trophies worth Rs. 2 lacs will be disbursed to the winners. |

| Until when can I enter? |
| Late entries close on 8th December 2005 at 1300 hrs. But don’t sit back – a maximum of 50 entries will be excepted on first come first serve basis – so hurry! |
