‘Can You Beat the Fastest Indian?’ is A Karting event sponsored by Tata Racing, Speed from Bharat Petroleum and Red Bull and organized by OVERDRIVE and SPORTSCRAFT. The event will be taking place in Goa, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai on the 15th January 2005, 22nd January 2005, 27th January 2005 and 3rd February 2005 respectively.

Concept of the event:

1. We have 4 qualifying rounds at each center and the finals in Mumbai on the 6th February 2005.

2. At the Qualifying rounds all the participants will be given practice and qualifying laps. The best 24 will be selected. Mr.Narain Karthikeyan will set a time for the particular track using the kart selected by draw of lots. The best 24 selected participants will be permitted to attempt to ‘Beat the Fastest Indian'.

3. All competitors must be 16 yrs or over and should be holding MAI karting Competition License. Competitors under the age of 18 yrs must ensure that all papers are counter signed by a parent or guardian.

4. The Entry fee shall be Rs. 300 /- plus Mai karting license as applicable.

5. Maximum of 100 entries, at each center, on first cum first serve basis will be accepted.

6. The first prize for the winner at the finals is a Trophy + trip to witness F1.

7. A participant can enter in one center only.
