FMSCI SCRUTINEERS SEMINAR : MUMBAI : 4-5 MARCH 2006

After the successful conduct of Stewards & Scrutineers Seminar in Kolkata in January 2006, the FMSCI, which is the only National Sports Federation recognized by the Government of India for motorsports, will conduct its next seminar for the 2 and 4 wheeler Scrutineers at Mumbai on the 4th & 5th March 2006.

Scrutineers play an important role in motorsport vis-a-vis the safety / technical aspect. It is the prime duty of the Scrutineers to ensure during pre-event scrutiny that the vehicles that take part are safe and after the event, at the post event scrutiny, that the vehicles conform to the technical regulations. They also undertake to check riding gears, helmets etc.

The Seminar would be conducted at Swadi Automobiles, Petit Compound, Nana Chowk, Mumbai 400 007. The Seminar is for both the new comers as well as the existing license holders.

On the 4th March, the morning session would be theory classes for both 2 and 4 wheeler scrutineers, while the afternoon session will be practicals. On the 5th March, there shall be an open book written test and those who pass / obtain the grade would be issued the appropriate FMSCI Scrutineers license. These licensed scrutineers would then be appointed for various motorsporting events across the country.

The fees for the Seminar is Rs.500/= for 2 W and Rs.500/= for 4 W.
