Prize Distribution Photographs 15:14 hrs : The last race of the Season was for Formula Rolon Chevrolet. It was Gaurav Gill who was on the pole position. Till lap 7 it was a bumper to bumper fight between Gill, Aditya & Ameya. But at the end it was Sarosh Hataria, who took the checkered flag for the first time in this season, followed by Ameya Walavalkar & Aditya Patel finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. With this the Championship had come to an end. < Sarosh Hataria - the winner > 1:45 : Formula LGB Hyundai : The pole was held by the Championship leader Mr.Rayomand Banajee followed by Ashwin sunder, Anand Prasad. However, it was Ashwin who lead the race from Lap 2 to Lap 10 and won the race, second for the day. The 2nd position went to Rayomand Banajee, the championship winner. Though Sudarshan Rao was coming 3rd till Lap 9, he had a jump start and some time penalties would be given to him. Finally it was Ashwin Sunder, Rayomand Banajee & C. Rajaram finishing in that order. < Ashwin Sunder - the winner > 12:45 : Formula LGB Swift : Wow what a race, though the pole leader Ashwin Sunder received the checkered flag, it was a tough fight for the 2nd and 3rd place with positions changing almost every lap between Saahil Shelar, Ajay Kini & Karthik Shankar. Finally it was Saahil Shelar and Karthik Shankar finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. < Ashwin Sunder - the winner > 11:55 : Race 1 for the Formula Rolon Chevrolet started at 1130 hrs. The pole was held by Gaurav Gill, Gaurav Dalal and Ameya Walavalkar in that order. However, Aditya Patel took the place of Ameya in Lap 1 itself. Luck favoured Ameya once again in Lap 5 wherein Aditya Patel had to retire. Till the checkered flag, it was Gaurav Gill and Gaurav Dalal maintaining 1 and 2 position respectively. Till Lap 9 it was Ameya who was holding on to the third place. 16:12 : The last race for the day was the Formula Rolon Chevrolet. The Pole leaders were Akhil Khuslani, Ameya Walavalkar, Rayomand and Gaurav Gill in that order. In lap 2 Gaurav Gill overook Royomand and came in 3rd. Ameya Walavalkar who was running 2nd had to retire due to mechanical problems which gave Gaurav Gill the 2nd place. Akhil Khuslani won the race with Gaurav Gill, Rayomand Banajee and Sarosh Hataria finishing 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. 15:12 hrs : Formula LGB Swift : It seems to be a day for Ashwin Sunder. The Pole leader Ajay Kini was overtaken by Ashwin Sunder in Lap 1 itself and after this Ashwin was pulling away himself from the rest and received the checkered flag. Saran Vikram finished second with Karthik Shankar finishing third. The Pole leader Ajay Kini could finish only 4th. 13:23 hrs: Formula Rolon Chevrolet : This was the crowd puller with almost the entire crowd coming out to watch the drivers racing this premium Formula Rolon Chevrolet cars. The pole leader Gaurav Gill lead the race from the start to finish with Ameya in the last lap giving him a little competition. Otherwise it was a clean race with the leader Gaurav Gill winning, faithfully followed by Ameya Walawalkar, Gaurav Dalal and Sarosh Hataria, finishing in the order of 2,3 & 4. 12:29 hrs : Formula LGB Hyundai : It was once again Ashwin Sunder who proved invincible in the race. From Lap 1 he built up his lead as he did in the LGB Swift category and won the race. Rayomand Banajee finished second. Anand Prasad, Ajay Kini and veteran race C Rajaram fought for the third place. It was Anand Prasad who finished third. For the fourth place it was C Rajaram who was ahead of Ajay Kini till the last lap, unfortunately Rajaram spun and it was Ajay Kini who finished fourth, while C Rajaram had to settle for 5th place. 11:39 hrs : Formula LGB Swift : Race 1 starated at 1100 hrs. From Lap 2 to finish it was Mr.Ashwin Sunder who increased the lap from the rest of the 12 drivers lap by lap and received the checkered flag. There was a nail biting fight between Saahil Shelar and Ajay Kini for the 2nd position almost every lap but it was Saahil Shelar who finished second followed by Ajay Kini. The Championship leader Saran Vikram could finish only 4th. 10:05 : Bright Sunny weather, the cars are all getting ready for the penultimate round of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship. IT WAS CLEARLY DALAL'S DAY WITH HIM FINISHING FIRST IN BOTH THE RACES. NOW THE TIME FOR PD. WAIT FOR PHOTOGRAPHS OF PD. LATEST NEWS : 16:39 : FORMULA HYUNDAI RACE 2 JUST CONCLUDED. WOW WHAT A RACE WITH POSITIONS OF 1 AND 2 CHANGING ALMOST EVERY LAP. RAYOMAND BANAJEE WHO HELD THE POLE POSITION WAS RELEGATED TO 4TH PLACE IN THE START ITSELF. MANAGED TO COME TO 3RD PLACE AT LAP 3 AND 2ND IN LAP 4. THERE WAS A TOUGH FIGHT BETWEEN RAJARAM WHO WAS LEADING TILL THEN AND RAYOMAND WITH POSITIONS CHANGING ALMOST EVERY LAP AFTER LAP 7 AND FINALLY IT WAS RAYOMAND BANAJEE WHO RECEIVED THE CHEQUERED FLAG, WITH RAJARAM 2ND AND ANAND PRASAD FINISHING THIRD.
