Sports Club heralds the New Year with its first event - the MMSC
Indian Oil Family Picnic Rally – which will be held on Sunday
8th January 2006. Organized by the Madras Sports Club in association with the
Gandhi Nagar Club in Adyar, the event is being sponsored by Indian Oil.
The rally which is being held on a TSD (time, speed and distance) format will
be spread over Chennai city and its suburbs covering a distance of approximately
100 kms.
The rally will be run for four categories : Experts, Regular, Novice and Gandhi
Nagar Club members.
The first vehicle will be flagged off from the Gandhi Nagar Club premises at
9 a.m. The prize distribution will be held the same day around 1 pm after lunch.
Last date for receiving entries is 7th January. The briefing session will be
held on 7th January at the Gandhi Nagar Club premises at 5 p.m.
