Akkineni confirms participation in the
Asian Formula BMW 2006 Championship
Aditya
Akkineni winner of the 2005 JK Tyre Rotax Max Karting Challenge
and 4th in the JK Tyre National Formula LGB Racing championship has
signed up with Team E Rain for the 2006 Asian Formula BMW Championship.
The deal was put together by ASB Management represented by Akbar Ebrahim.
Team E Rain is the same team that Armaan Ebrahim drove for in 2005 in
the Formula BMW Championship.
Team E Rain will have the sevices of A1 Team India's Chief Engineer
Patrick Roberts and A1 Team India's Data Annalyst Andy Pardoe for the
2006 season.
Aditya Akkineni will benefit greatly by driving for Team E Rain as he
will then have access to all the data of Armaan when he drove in the
2005 championship and this by itself is a huge bonus. Armaan may also
help Aditya out for a few races when he gets time off from his busy
A1 GP schedule.
