The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) issued a circular today stating that the Technical Data Form (TDF) for Yamaha Gladiator and Yamaha Alba has been prepared and that these vehicles can start participating in motorsporting events from 14th June 2007. Yamaha Gladiator - TDF No. TDF070003 & Yamaha Alba - TDF070004 Most probably these vehicles would be seen in action in the 2nd round of the Ucal Rolon National Road Racing Championship, an approved FMSCI National Championship, scheduled on 23-24 June 2007 at Sriperumbudur Race Track @ Chennai. The popularity of road racing is increasing rapidly with few of Indian riders taking part in the International events like Malaysian Super Series and the Asian GP. With the entry of Yamaha Gladiator and Alba in motorsport, it would be a good thrill to watch these bikes perform against the TVS, Honda & Hero Honda. Conspicious by its absence would be the Bajaj Pulsar DTSIs and Suzuki. Are they listening ? ** END ** |
