Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC) has been organizing bike racers for newcomers regularly for the past few years especially during the summer season. During this summer, MMSC organized three such events which drew a very positive response from the riders and brought in good crowds too.

The third of the above series of events was organized on Sunday, 3rd June. at the Madras Motor Race Track in Irrungattukottai near Chennai. The late afternoon session event was conducted for 4 categories – Mopeds, Group B 4 stroke 125cc, Group B 4 stroke 160 cc and Group B 2 stroke 150 cc classes. Around 50 riders were seen in action.

Venkatesan had a happy outing winning both the races in the Group B 2 stroke 135 cc class. V. Murugan also scored a double by winning both his races in the Group B 4 stroke class, while R. Thamu and Sudhakar Keshavan took the honors in the Group B 4 stroke 125 cc class by winning one race each.

Sudhakar Keshavan also emerged winner in the moped category.
