Indian lads Rayomand Banajee & Aditya Patel finished an impressive 2nd & 3rd in the Asian Rotax Karting Challenge 2007. The 4 Round championship kicked of in Kotah Bharu, Malaysia where Rayomand, who is also the reigning National Formula LGB Hyundai Champion drove an Indian made chassis (KnK Kart) to an excellent 5 th place amidst tough competition. In the second Round in India – both drivers faced a bit of bad luck which saw them loose a lot of points. Rayomand managed to bag another position by finishing 5th.
In Indonesia at Surabaya, both drivers once again faced more bad luck as they finished down the order due to numerous problems. The final round at Sepang, Malaysia saw Rayomand having to start the crucial pre-final from last position due to non finishes in both heats after getting bumped off. He eventually climbed up the order to finish 6 th in his category(13th in combined grid) & wrapped up his 2nd spot in the Asian Championship. Aditya had a good run & finished 4th in his category (9th in the combined grid) to finish 3rd in the Championship. "Coming 2nd in Asia is all thanks to support from SPEED Petrol & CINTHOL.
