The Ucal Rolon National Road Racing Championship 2007 is the only National level Championship for road racing in India. This National Championship is approved by The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) - the National Sports Federation recognized by the Government of India and the FMNR (National Motorcycle Federation Regional) for India of the International Federation viz. Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme(FIM), Geneva.

This National Championship is co-ordinated and organized by Meco Motor Sports Pvt. Ltd., Chennai headed by Mr.Akbar Ebrahim, father of India's next hope for Formula 1- Armaan Ebrahim and Madras Motor Sports Club, the pioneer club in bringing Motor Sport to a new height, the organizers of the famous All India Motor Race Meet (AIMRM) and holder of highest number of motor sporting events in the Country.

The National Championship consists of 6 rounds, 3 rounds in Coimbatore and 3 rounds in Chennai at the two purpose built international standard racing tracks in Coimbatore (Kari Motor Speedway) and MMST Racing Track at Sriperumbudur, Chennai.

As a National Championship, the winner is awarded the prestigious "Indian National Champion 2007" award.

The championship is run under the National Competition Rules (NCR) of the FMSCI, the Standard Regulations of the Championship and the Supplementary Regulations of the rounds concerned.

This year, it has been decided to run the following classes of two wheelers :

10 B Above 160cc to 250cc 4stroke Open 2
11 A 600cc to 1000cc 4stroke Open 2

For Groups "B", "C" & "D" only those vehicles that are homologated with the FMSCI are allowed to participate. The modifications are allowed as per the 2007 Two Wheeler Technical Regulations of the FMSCI.
