What is Ucal Rolon National Road Racing Championship (URNRRC) ?

The Ucal Rolon National Road Racing Championship is a 'National Championship' event for racing in circuits. Since there are only two purpose built racing circuits in India, one in Coimbatore and one in Chennai, the races are held there. There are six rounds of the championship, out of which 3 is held in Coimbatore and 3 in Chennai.

Is URNRRC recognized ?

Yes, the Ucal Rolon National Road Racing Championship is recognized by "The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI)", which is the Government recognized National Sports Federation for promotion and governance of motorsport in India.

Any bike is allowed is participate ?

There are many groups in URNRRC. For Group "B", "C" & "D" only those bikes that are homologated with the FMSCI are allowed to participate.

What are the pre-requisites for participating in this National Championship ?

Basically, you must have a bike that is homologated with the FMSCI and an appropriate FMSCI Competition License i.e. for Group "D" you must have atleast FMSCI Restricted Competition License and for Group "A","B" & "C" FMSCI full competition is a must. Download FMSCI 2W License Applicaton Form. After this please go thru the Supplementary Regulations. Download the Entry Form and submit it to the organizers before the end date.

I do not have a Civil Driving License, can I still participate ?

Yes you can as long as you turn 15 years of age in this year. However, it is incumbent that you show proof of your riding skills, may be you can approach the organizers, show your riding skill at the track and get an endorsement in the FMSCI license application form and submit it to the FMSCI.

I am an outstation rider , do I get any travel discount ?

Yes, since this is an FMSCI approved National Championship event, once you submit your entry, please download the railway concession form, fill it up and submit it to the FMSCI. They will in turn issue you a letter, with which you can get up to 75% discount in your train fare.

Yes, you can. Please approach the organizers for details & rates.
