Ashwin, Deepak and Preetham grab pole positions
Double pole for S.Shankar in Novice class

28th July 2007, Coimbatore:

The qualifying races for the 3rd round of the India's premier National Road Racing Championship the Ucal Rolon National Road Racing Championship, an FMSCI approved National Championship was held today at the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore.

Ashwin Sundar of Team Yamaha, Preetham Dev Moses of Team TVS and R. Deepak annexed pole positions in the expert categories. Ashwin and R.Deepak have two pole positions each with one pole position going to Preetham. In the Novice classes S. Shankar did well to take two pole positions.

With more than 80 riders including the cream of Indian bike racers - including international riders Preetham Dev Moses, K.Rajini and Ashwin Sundar - vying for honors in this round, the main races tomorrow promises to be a day of action and thrills.

The main races will commences tomorrow (29th July 2007) at 9.30 am.
