Chennai, 15th Sep 2007 : The festival occasion was no dampener as a hectic and action packed day was witnessed in the qualifying sessions for round 5 of the Ucal Rolon National Road Racing Championship which got underway today at the Madras Motor Race Track in Irrungattukottai near Chennai today.

T.K.Vishwanath of Team Yamaha and K. Rajini of Team TVS were among those in the limelight today as they achieved pole positions in their respective classes.

The pole positions in various categories are as follows-:

With about 100 riders including the cream of Indian bike racers - including international riders Preetham Dev Moses, K.Rajini and Ashwin Sundar - vying for honors in this round, the main races tomorrow promises to be a day of action and thrills. The main races will commence tomorrow, Sunday, 16th Sep 2007, at 9.30 am. Entry for the public is free.
