Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt.Ltd. have homologated their Honda Shine and Honda Stunner CBF with the FMSCI according to a circular released by The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) which is the only Government of India's National Sports Federation for motorsports. Both these vehicles are of 124.7 cc and while Shine is 4 speed, Stunner CBF is 5 speed.

Honda Unicorn have already been approved by the FMSCI for National motorsports.

The Honda Stunner & Shine can now compete in the FMSCI approved National & National Championship events from 8th September 2008. This would enable these vehicles to compete in the ensuing FMSCI National Road Racing as well as Rally Championships.

While HMSI would not be fielding their official team for Indian motorsports this year, this homologation would enable the competitors to use these vehicles in National & National Championship events.
