New Delhi, January 31, 2008: JK Tyre National Racing Championship, the only racing event in India to produce international stars like Narain Kartikeyan, Karun Chandhok, Armaan Ebrahim, today announced the renaissance of its 11th consecutive year JK Tyre National Racing Championship for the year 2008. India is witnessing new heights for the motorsport. Dr. Mallya's Force India and F1 coming to India have added to the growing enthusiasm for the sport in the country. The concept of the championship is designed to take the motorsport at the forefront with international level of formula car racing. The new format would be a salute to the national championship which has grown from the humble beginnings into what is India's premier motorsport championship today, attracting the finest talent from across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sanjay Sharma, Head - Motorsports, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., said, "We are pleased to announce the new format of JK Tyre National Racing Championship.
