Malaysian Super Series 2008
Indian riders shine in round 4

The round 4 of the Malaysian Super Series was held at the Sepang Circuit on 11th July & 12th July, wherein 5 of our riders took part in varous categories.

In the 600 cc we had Rohit Giri in the Novice category, Rajini K in the open category. This round, Emmanuel Jebaraj also joined Rohit Giri in the Novice category.

In free practice Rajini clocked 1:11.822 and achived 7th place. In qualifying, he improved his timing to 1:10.422 and qualified 5th overall. This Red Rooster sponsored racer finished 5th in both race 1 and in race 2. Currently he is running second in the Championship with one round (2 races) to go scheduled on 17-19 Oct 2008.

Another Red Rooster rider Rohit Giri who was leading the points table before this round extended his lead further in this round. In the Free practice he clocked 1:12.621 and was placed 12th overall. In qualifying he qualified 10th overall but he was on pole for the Novice category having improved his timing to 1:11.230. In the Novice category, Rohit was the winner in both the races. In race 2, he improved his timing further with the best lap timing of 1:10.565.

Emmanuel Jebaraj, the latest addition to the SuperSport 600 Novice category from India achieved 6th fastest timing in free practice and qualified 4th with the timing of 1:11.766. In race one he finished 7th and in race two he finished 5th, with a best lap of 1.11.234. Jeba is sponsored by Red Rooster Racing, Live LIfe and Eclipse Malaysia and races for Tommy's Racing team.
