Malaysian Super Series : Round 1 : Sepang Track (North) : 12-13 April 2008
Indian contingent all set for Malaysian Super Series
 

The round 1 of Malaysian Super Series will be held at the Sepang Circuit (North) on the 12th & 13th of April 2008. The Indian contingent consits of

1) Emmanuel Jebaraj : Five times Indian National Champion and who has been racing in the Malaysian Super Series for the last two years in the 150 cc and 250 cc respectively and finished overall 4th in both these years.

"To upgrade myself, I have decided that this year I would take part in the SuperSport 600 cc" said Jeba. He added "I take this opportunity for thank "Live Life" and "Pacer Yamaha" for supporting me. Though I did not compete in the FMSCI National Road Racing Championship last year, this year I would take part in the National Championship as well"

2) Karthik P : Started racing in the year 2002. He is sponsored by TVS Motor Company.

Achievements :

2006:
1. Overall 2nd in 80-110cc Group ‘D’ 4 stroke category in UCAL Rolon road racing National championship.
2. Overall 3rd in 111-160cc Group ‘D’ 4stroke category UCAL Rolon road racing National championship.

2007:
1. Overall 3rd in 125cc-160cc Group ‘D’ 4 stroke category UCAL Rolon road racing National championship.
2. Overall 3rd in 125-160cc Group ‘B’ 4 stroke category UCAL Rolon road racing National championship.

Karthik would be taking part in the Underbone 135cc class in the Malaysian Super Series. Excited Karthik said " I really look forward to this week end race.....I thank my parents for all their support. I must thank TVS Motor Company & Perot Systems IBPS Chennai for supporting me. "

3) Vinoth Kannan

Achievements:

2004:
1. Overall Winner in 180-250cc Group ‘D’ 4 stroke category in UCAL National road racing Championship.
2. Overall 2nd in All India Rolon Meet in 4 stroke 250cc category.

2006:
Overall Winner upto 65cc category in UCAL Rolon National road racing championship.

2007:
Overall Winner in 250cc category in MRF Challenge in 250cc

2008 Plans
Taking part in Malaysian super series, Kawasaki series -150CC as well as our Indian National road racing championships. I thank my parents for supporting me.

4) Rajini. K : Started racing in 2002. He has achieved a rare feet of having won seven National Championship titles in different race categories. He is the first Indian to win Kawasaki series in Malaysian Super Series 2006 and participated in highly competitive class in Asian GP last year.

2008 plans:
Taking part in Super sport 600cc Malaysian super series as well as our Indian National road racing championships.

5) Harry Slyvester

Achievments: Started racing in 2002, won a National Championship in 2004 in 150cc ‘D’ 2stroke category.

2006:
Overall 3rd in 80-110cc Group ‘D’ 4 stroke category in UCAL Rolon National road racing Championship.

2007:
1.Overall 3rd in 80-125cc Group ‘D’ 4 stroke category in UCAL Rolon National road racing championship.
2.Overall 2rd in 125-160cc Group ‘D’ 4 stroke category in UCAL Rolon National road racing championship.

2008 plans:
Taking part in Malaysian super series, Under bone 135cc 2 stroke as well as our Indian National road racing championships. I thank my parents and “TVS Motor Company” for supporting me.
