The rounds 12 and 13 were of the Formula BMW Pacific was held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Singapore. Yesterday in race 1, Aditya Patel driving for Eurasia Team had his career best performance of 7th place. The race 2 was held on Sunday before the F1 races. Starting the race again from 17th and last on the grid, due to a qualifying mishap and red flag situation, Aditya picked his way through a strong field, and showed his absolute class.

The first lap saw the safety car out for one lap , and then it was all go!

Aditya thrilled the huge Indian crowd with a dazzling display of driving, and made some overtaking manouvers that got the entire crowd on their feet.Cutting and slicing through the field, the young Indian worked his way up to eight position, and lined himself up to pass team mate Marlon Stockinger on the last lap.

Unfortunately, a hasty Simon Moss, eager to get back the position Aditya snatched from him, flew over the curbs and spun Aditya out. Aditya restarted and rejoined the race and finished 13th. All in all, a great weekend for this promising Indian racer.
