After the successful launch of the MMSC JK Tyre Summer Cup Races 2008 for Formula Maruti Cars last week (1st June 2008), Madras Motor Sports Club will conduct the next round of races for newcomers at the Madras Motor Race Track in Irrungattukottai near Chennai, this week end (8th June 2008).

The race day (sunday) will consist of four races for the Formula Marutis. The first race is scheduled to start at 11.45 hrs and the final race is expected to be over by 5 pm.

Last weekend saw some close encounters and spirited racing despite the competitors being raw and inexperienced. It would be interesting to watch if WSRF's Gokul Krishna would be able to repeat his last week's performance wih Mohit, Justin, Akhil Roshan and all others putting their best efforts to win.

This event is part of JK Tyre and MMSC’s continuous efforts to discover and encourage new talent.
