If you had ever felt like this then Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC) gives you an opportunity to showcase your talent this week end (10th & 11th May) in the NewComers Race at the Irungattukottai race track here in Chennai. As part of a continuous exercise to encourage motor sports and unearth fresh talent and to encourage participation in the ensuing National Championship, MMSC has planned a race for NewComers along with the TVS Race a bike scheme with new bikes this week end.

The newcomers can participate in Group "B" 4 Stroke classes 1) upto 130 cc & 2) Above 130 cc upto 165 cc and 3) Group "B" 2 Stroke upto 165 cc. Those riders who have won or come first in any road racing event or who has achieved a podium finish (1st, 2nd & 3rd) in any class / group in the National Championship previously and any other rider who the organizers decide does not fit in the Novice / Newcomer category WILL NOT be permitted to take part thereby ensuring that the novices / new comers get the real opportunity to fight amongst equals.
