September 13, 2008 : The qualifying session for the round 3 of the
FMSCI approved Ucal Rolon
National Road Racing Championship for 2 wheelers,
was held today at the Sriperumbudur Race Track here in Chennai.
It
was a spectacular return to road racing by the former national champion
T .K. Vishwanath. He is racing
for the newly formed Team Anya Racing. Vishwa
clinched three pole positions in the Expert category ;
in Group "D" 4 Stroke 165 cc and Group "B" 4
Stroke 165 cc riding his Yamaha R15 and in Group
B 4 Stroke 260 cc astride Hero Honda Karizma.

am really happy that I am back....the qualifying session was very
good for me and my team Anya Racing... R15 handling was superb ;
I know and look forward to a very exciting races tomorrow, as the
competition will be really really tough...I will do my best"

In
the Super Bike class it was Praveen Keerthi and
Vikram who took the honors. S.Vivek Pillai,
V.Sameer, Alok Shashidhar and
K.Umesh Babu were among those in the limelight
today as they achieved pole positions in their respective classes.
