The sixth round of the ADAC VW Polo Cup moves to the famed Circuit de Catalunya outside the vibrant city of Barcelona on the 18th of September. It is reputed to be one of the most modern circuits today.

This gives our young Indian drivers Aditya Patel and Ashwin Sundar an opportunity to drive and compete on a circuit where so much Formula 1 action has taken place in the past few years.

For Aditya it should be a good weekend as he has driven at the circuit before, although not in a Touring car, but in the ADAC Formula Masters single seater racing car.

This race will be a real test for the youngsters as the Championship is coming to a close and the fight for the lead is heating up, as the space at the top is tight. M. Steinhof leads with 304 points, Sandritter with 259 , and Elia Erhart with 234 points.
