LEANDER SPORT SIGN ON INDIAN UPCOMING TALENT, ADITYA PATEL
Leander Sport Pvt. Ltd., the sports management company promoted by tennis legend, Leander Paes has today officially announced the signing on of young Indian motorsport talent, Aditya Patel, shortly after that of A1GP World Champion Neel Jani - as a continuation of the company’s long term commitment to grow motorsport in India.

Ara Pararajasingham, Director at Leander Sport says, “Aditya has consistently proven his mettle in Indian motorsport with the Rotax Max India Championship and Formula Rolon Indian National Champion under his belt by the age of 18. Aditya represents in many ways the future of India’s young, upcoming motorsport talent - daring to take unchartered ways forward in his career and to challenge the traditional and otherwise, only way to have ‘arrived’ in motorsport. It is this, his generally outstanding performance and his personal dedication that makes him an attractive athlete to Leander Sport. Although Formula 1 might be the pinnacle of motorsport internationally, we recognize that open wheel single seater racing does not allow the masses to identify as easily – they are cars they’ve probably never seen or heard and will never get to touch or experience. Le Mans is one example that has proven the success of this alternative model. We salute Aditya in his endeavor to follow the path he believes in.”

Aditya Patel adds, “I’ve grown up watching Leander Paes storm the tennis courts of the world creating iconic status as an Indian sportsperson. It has been my dream to be able to represent India on the global scene and it seems I‘m getting there slowly, thanks to the help of my sponsors and supporters in –JK Tyre, VW India, Amaron, AJ Worldwide, MAS Holdings (Sri Lanka) and TTS (Germany). Now with Leander Sport agreeing to sign me on, I am even more hopeful about my future. I might not have chosen the traditional way forward, but I know only my performance going forward, can speak louder than words and then whichever route I take to achieve my end goal, I’m confident I will be successful.”
