During the Rally de Kolkata event, after
the incident of Vikram Mathias car hit Arjun Balu car, there
were discussions on the use, size, placement of red reflective triangle
which each competitor use in order to warn following drivers. It was
also noted by the FMSCI officials that the size of these triangles
were not the same with all competitors. As the rally is getting faster
and faster, the size of red triangle becomes very important. After
due discussion, the FMSCI had come out with a bulletin specifying
the size of the red reflective triangle. Since this is a matter of
safety, the bulletin comes in to effect immediately i.e. all competitors
must carry this size triangle for the upcoming Rally of Maharashtra
event onwards.
