The third round of the FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship for
2 wheelers will be held at Chickmaglur between 24-25 October 2009.
The first and second rounds were held in Coimbatore and Mysore respectively.
This round will be organized by the Motor Sports Club of Chickmaglur.
The MAK COFFEE 500 Rally will have three special stages viz. VSL
Estate Stage (9.30 kms) run three times, Kesvinamane Stage (9.20 kms)
run two times and Vasanthcool stage (6.50 kms) run one time, bringing
the total of the special stage distance to 52.80 kms. The total distance
of the rally will be 139.45 kms. There shall be a regroup of 50 minutes
and 30 minutes and three services of 20 minutes each in between. The
first bike will be flagged off at 0800 hrs on Sunday, the 25th October
2009 and will finish at 14:28 hrs. The Prize Distribution will be
held at 1700 hrs.
The entries are now open and the entries close on Tuesday, 20th October
2009 @ 1800 hrs. The recce, pre-event scrutiny, documentation etc.
are scheduled on Saturday, 24th October 2009. The maximum number of
entries is fixed at 50.
The motorcycles are divided as follows :
4 Strokes :
I) Group "D" : up to 130cc II) 131 cc upto 165 cc and III)
166 cc to 210 cc
I) Group "B" : upto 130 cc II) 131 cc upto 165 cc III)
166 cc to 210 cc and IV) 211 cc upto 260 cc
2 Strokes :
I) Group "B" : up to 130cc and II) 131 cc upto 165 cc
