The round 4 of the FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship for 2 wheelers viz. MAK Karnataka 1000 Rally is scheduled between 19th & 20th December 2009 at Bangalore and organized by Karnataka Motor Sports Club.

The entries are open now and the standard entries close on 14th Dec and the Late entries on the 16th Dec. A maximum of 40 entries on a first come first serve basis will be accepted for the rally. The reccee, pre-event scrutiny will be held on Saturday, the 19th Dec, while the actual rally will be flagged off at 1000 hrs on Sunday, the 20th Dec 2009. The rally will end at 1434 hrs on the same day.

The total distance of the rally is about 120 kms. There shall be 2 special stages Mulberry and Silk run 4 times making it 8 special stages totalling around 80 kms.

The route is as follows :

Mulberry (10.92) – Silk (8.95) – Service – Mulberry– Silk– Service – Mulberry – Silk – Service – Mulberry – Silk – Parc Ferme’

The following group of motorcycles will be permitted to participate :

4 Stroke : Group D : 1) upto 130 cc 2) 131 cc upto 165 cc 3) 166 cc upto 210 cc
4 Stroke : Group B : 1) upto 130 cc 2) 131 cc upto 165 cc 3) 166 cc upto 210 cc 4) 211 cc upto 260 cc
2 Stroke : Group B : 1) upto 130 cc 2) 131 cc upto 165 cc
