Trust Race Track in Irungaatukottai near suburban Sriperumbudur here
today.
K.Vinoth

overall winner for the Driver’s title of the JK Tyre

the cylinder head volume of Vikash Anand's car was
found to be not in conformity with the homologation form.

the FMSCI Stewards, decided to exclude Vikash Anand from
the races held yesterday and today and moved up the competitors resulting
from the exclusion. K Vinoth has been declared winner
of the overall title of the Junior Cup. Karthick Krishna was
promoted as runner-up and Mumbai’s Steve Hodges to
third place.

The
battle for the top slot continued in the second race too, as Vinoth
and Vikash Anand were involved in yet another
pulsating duel. But an incident of oil spill by the car of Pratyuman
Guhan, a Wallace Sports driver, resulted
in the spoiling the chances of four of the drivers in the competitions.
Thus the vehicles of Vikash Anand, Karthik
Krishna, Steve Hodges and Ravi Dubey
spun off the track and went out off the race. However, this
helped Vinoth to his second successive win of the
day, and also put him within striking distance of the title.
