The
Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) is the National
Sports Federation recognized by the Government of India for the governance
and promotion of motorsport in India. The FMSCI is the Indian representative
of the International Federations viz. Federation International de
l' Automobile, Paris (4W) and Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme
(FIM), Geneva (2W).
The
FMSCI Rally Committee under the Chairmanship of Mr.Praneeth
Perumal met in Bangalore over 2 days on 11th & 12th April
2009 with a view to finalize the calendar for the 4 wheeler FMSCI
Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) and the rules and regulations
for the running of the events. According to a release from the FMSCI,
there will be 6 rounds for the 2009 INRC as follows :

There was also
a meeting with the organizing clubs and a series of interface meetings
with the Promoters, competitors etc which was very well attended,
added the release.
The FMSCI will also be hosting the Prize Distribution Ceremony for
the 2008 INRC for 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers at Bangalore on 23rd May
2009.
A Stewards Seminar
is scheduled at Bangalore on 23rd May 2009 with special emphasis on
the FMSCI INRC 2009
