Duo from Bangalore hog limelight ; Maiden win for Akhil Devarag for Rams Racing in Hyundai Enduro Race
Gaurav Dalal & Sudarshana Rao clinch Formula Rolon Chevrolet and Formula LGB Swift

Gaurav Dalal of Red Rooster Racing made a dashing come back to keep his chances for the championship title open in the premium Formula Rolon Chevrolet category with an extremely powered performance. With the championship leader Ashwin Sundar not in the fray due to his international racing commitments, the field has been thrown wide open. And capitalizing on this Gaurav Dalal made sure that he got ahead to a good start from the pole to take the chequered flag convincingly. Second in grid Karthik Shankar of Team Speed NK Racing stuck to his position till the last while independent racer Saran Vikram came in third.

Akhil Devarag from Bangalore and Team Rams Racing scored his maiden win in the endurance race on Day 1 of Round 4 of the JK Tyre FMSCINational Racing Championship 2009 at the Madras Motor Race Track at Irungaatukottai near Chennai. After being involved in a close contest with the pilot racer from Chennai and Wallace Sports Sudanand Rajan, Akhil sealed the win by completing 22 laps in a timing of 45:06:312 minutes. Sudanand who finished second completed 22 laps with a timing of 46:01:554 minutes. The third place was taken by Akhils team mate and Chennai lad M.Mohit who completed 21 laps in 46:18:573 minutes
