The round 2 of the FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship for 2 wheelers, viz. Rally of Mysore, sponsored by MAK Lubricants is scheduled to take place between 5-6 September 2009 @ Mysore. The event is organized by the Mysore Adventure Sports Club, Mysore.

The MAK Rally of Mysore will have 2 special stages viz.Cauvery (12.9 kms), Kapila (7.8 kms) run 3 times in its entirety totaling 62 kms of special stages. The total distance of the rally would be around 160 kms. The stages will be run two times with 20 minutes service in between and before the third time there will be a regroup of 20 minutes. The documentation and pre-event scrutiny will be held on 5th September 2009 between 1200 & 1500 hrs, followed by the Pre-event Scrutiny (1500 hrs to 1800 hrs). The Pre event press conference will be held at 1800 hrs followed by the riders briefing @ 1900 hrs. On Sunday, the 6th September 2009, the event starts at 0800 hrs and the last bike expected to finish the rally by 1613 hrs, followed by the publication of provisional results at 1700 hrs and Prize Distribution Ceremony at 1800 hrs.

Only bikes that are homologated with the FMSCI are allowed to participate as this is a National Championship event and the bikes are divided in to the following classes

1) 2 Strokes : Full Modified Class : Group B

2) 4 Strokes : Unmodified Class : Group D

Upto 130 cc
131 cc upto 165 cc
166 cc upto 210 cc
