Leading
motorsports technical safety company Alpinestars is
developing its links with Indian racing by supporting rising motorcycle
star, Dilip Rogger.
Dilip
is proving to be the most exciting young rider emerging
on the Indian sub-continent and has already achieved an impressive
number of victories in Indian National Championships and further
afield on tracks throughout South-East Asia.
Alpinestars
has confirmed its support for Dilip and
will provide the young rider from Chennai with his technical racing
equipment, including; leather suit, boots, gloves and protection
for 2009.
Alpinestars
is not a newcomer to racing in India and already enjoys
partnerships with the Force India Formula 1 team and Narain Karthikeyan,
India’s first Formula 1 driver. Dilip is,
however, the first prominent Indian motorcycle road racer to join
Alpinestars and he looks likely to follow the
mould set by his illustrious countrymen in Formula 1.
Alpinestars
was established in 1963 as a design and manufacturing
company of technical footwear for off-road motorcycle sport. Throughout
its continuing development, the company has been deeply involved
with racing at the highest level and many of the world’s
motorsport stars have won numerous championships both on two wheels
and four with support from Alpinestars. With the experience and
knowledge gained on the race track, the company develops a full
range of safety protection for motorcycling and auto racing.
Alpinestars
is now a global brand, with sales distribution for its
technical motorcycle and auto racing products, as well as casual
street fashion clothing, across the world.
Alpinestars
has a growing presence in India and its support for Dilip
Rogger is another step in the development of its operations in
one of the world’s most exciting and fast moving markets.
