Chennai, 13th August
2009
Half
the season has finished in the British Motorcycle Racing Club
(BMRC) Championship in United Kingdom and our Indian Rider Emmanuel
Gnanaraj has been successful so far having secured 12th
place in the 600 cc Rookie Open Championship out of nearly 40
British and European Riders.. The next round is scheduled on 22-23
August 2009 @ Cadwell Park. Emmanuel has been
finishing in top 10 positions in almost all the races, except
in Snetterton wherein his Crashing had cost him a lot to put the
bike back in shape.

"A
lot of work has been done to his Yamaha R6 and the bike is ready
for the next round at Cadwell Park Circuit with a new look, Emmanuel
has been working hard in the gym and in perfect shape to face
next half of the season" says Hari Bose,Team
Manager, HRV Racing India. The season started with 44 riders &
33 of them has managed to score points so far and Emmanuel
has moved up to 12th place in the Championship.
When
asked about the future plans, Emmanuel said "I
am concentrating on the current season at the moment, aiming to
get into top 10 position in the Championship table by next round.
Sponsorship has always been a struggle this season being an Indian
and competing against British riders in their own country has
limited the number of potential sponsors that we can approach.
I might race in India or Malaysia or UAE Championship in Dubai
next year, depending on the sponsor. I would like to thank all
my sponsors so far especially from India and my team HRV Racing
and my friends and fans for all their support."
