TVS Racing and Madras Motor Sports Club are pleased to announce the start of the TVS Racing School. The school will be a one day course. It will be held at the purpose built international standard Madras Motor Race Track in Sriperumbudur Chennai. Intially, three dates have been finalized as follows :

1) Friday, 31st July 2009
2) Friday, 28th August 2009 and
3) Friday, 25th Septmber 2009

(i) The school will start with a briefing session in the morning giving information on FMSCI, the Road Racing Regulations, the Disciplinary & Arbitration Code, flag signals, technical regulations etc.

(ii) Post lunch, will have practical riding lessons including riding postures etc. Then the trainnees will be taken on to the track on TVS bikes and a few laps under supervision, followed by corrective advise.

• Mr. Subash Chandra Bose will be the instructor.
• The session will have a minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 trainees, on first come first serve basis.
• The TVS Racing School will be made part of the TVS Race a Bike Scheme from next year.
• The fee is Rs.1000/= per rider.
• Reservations can be made on payment of the fee to the Madras Motor Sports Club from immediate effect.
• Riders must be in possession of a valid civil riding license for motorcycles with gears, full faced helmet, riding suit, full hand leather or riding gloves and shoes which cover the ankles.
• Existing riders who wish to improve riding skills are also welcome.
