The
just concluded JK Tyre – FMSCI Junior Cup showcased
excellent talent from youngsters and Vikas Anand,
a 15 year old 10th standard school boy showed his grid and determination
in the final race to finish 3rd and consequently winning the Cup
subject to technical scrutiny.
It
is unfortunate that a technical error by the team and no fault
of his deprived him of the cup.
Wallace
Sports has been running a team of ten cars at heavily
subsidized costs to promote these youngsters and contribute to
the growth of Motor Sports and as a reward are giving this youngster
a full season scholarship in the 2010 JK Tyre FMSCI National
Racing Championship which is the Award he would have
earned but for the technical infringement.
He
is a youngster who deserves all the support and certainly will
find a place of prominence in his next races.
